BREAKING NEWS: Abbey Stadium to host rearranged Best Pairs

SWINDON'S Abbey Stadium will stage the re-arranged Elite League Pairs competition - the day after the FIM British Grand Prix in Cardiff.

British Speedway bosses have moved quickly to agree the date, Sunday June 29 at 6pm, following the postponement of last weekend's original staging at King's Lynn.

Swindon, winners in 2004 and 2005, last hosted the Pairs in 2006, when Leigh Adams and Seb Ulamek were beaten in the final by Belle Vue.
