MADS Korneliussen hopes to be crowned Great Dane' of Blunsdon tonight when he goes wheel-to-wheel with four of his fellow countrymen.
The table-topping Robins are looking to preserve an unbeaten home record against Peterborough having never lost to the Panthers at the Abbey, but for Korneliussen the meeting is a chance to underline his credentials as one of Denmark's top riders.
Overlooked for a wild card slot at his home Grand Prix at the Parken Stadium later this month, Korneliussen is desperate to prove he has the talent to rub shoulders with the best in the world.
He said: "It was a major disappointment not to get the wild card for the Danish Grand Prix because I really felt that I earned it this year.
"But I still have a chance to qualify for the next one when I go to Italy on June 21, so I have to be ready for that.
"I want to show everybody that I deserved to be there.
"Of course I want to do well against Peterborough and riding against the other Danish boys will give me great motivation. You never want to lose to them."
Robins recaptured top spot in the Sky Sports Elite League with a 48-42 triumph against Wolverhampton, and victory at the Abbey this evening would see them extend their lead to three points.
Korneliussen contributed paid nine to his side's success at Monmore Green, and is targeting another healthy points haul against the Panthers.
"It was an important win for us at Wolverhampton and a good three points," he said.
"I think we proved to people that we are just as good as before, despite losing at home to Poole.
"Peterborough will be tough because Hans Andersen is going good, and some of the other Danes are pretty quick as well so we have to watch out for them.
"It's all about the starts. If we can get out of the gates quickly then we should be okay.
"We want to build up a big lead early, make them use their tactical ride and then finish them off."
Robins return to home action after a 14-day break, looking to make amends for the shock 39-51 reverse to Poole last time out.
Peterborough tasted their first victory on away shale this season last night, but Swindon will be confident of another home success.
Recently issued green sheet averages see Seb Alden move into the main body of the team while James Wright moves to no 7.
