LEIGH Adams's miserable Grand Prix series continued in Cardiff tonight as he missed out on the semi-finals following a controversial exclusion in heat 17.
Nicki Pedersen clipped Adams's back wheel going into the second bend of the first lap, but referee Marek Wojaczek remarkably chose to exclude Swindon's Aussie ace, much to his obvious displeasure.
It meant Adams finished with just seven points from his five rides, and it wasn't enough to see the Robins' captain grab a place in the semis.
The British Grand Prix was eventually won by Adams's fellow countryman Jason Crump.
