ROBINS have sealed the signature of one of the hottest properties in world speedway - Jurica Pavlic.
Swindon beat off six other rival clubs to land the teenage Croatian ace, who rides with Swindon skipper Leigh Adams for Leszno, in Poland, Pavlic will replace injury-victim Seb Alden in the Swindon line-up after the Swede was ruled out for the rest of the season with a broken heel, and the 19-year-old could make his Elite League debut against Ipswich at Blunsdon on Thursday.
Robins boss Alun Rossiter described the signing as "a massive coup," adding: "There's a lot of teams who have been monitoring Jurica and keeping tabs on him, but we've got him.
"I made a call to Leigh Adams while he was in Leszno and asked if Jurica was interested in joining us.
"He just turned round straight away and said yes, so I was surprised but delighted.
"Some Robins fans have been badgering me for a while to watch this lad, so I'm sure they will be really pleased to to hear that we've signed him."
