TREGOZE Primary School were crowned champions at the Swindon School Partnership High Five Netball Competition.

Schools from across Swindon competed in the event for year five and six pupils.

Tregoze saw off defending champions Grange Primary School and now progress to the Wiltshire County Finals.

Festival co-ordinator Jo Granger said: “The whole competition was played in excellent spirit and was a superb advert for the festival aims of enjoyment and fair play.

“There was an exciting level of skill and performance on show and we would like to wish all the schools the best of luck at the Wiltshire Youth Games”.

Tournaments and festivals such as this are representative of the partnership’s commitment to the improvement and increase of opportunities for all schools to enjoy inter-school competition.
