Nouble arrives at County Ground

FRANK Nouble has completed his loan switch to Swindon Town.

The West Ham striker has agreed an emergency one-month deal to sign on with the Robins, and will be available for tomorrow's crunch League One encounter with Norwich City at the County Ground.

The 18-year-old has already featured for the Hammers in the Premier League this season, and spent February on loan at Championship high-flyers West Brom.

Nouble trained with the Town squad for the first time today before being presented to the local media. He will wear the number nine shirt during his stint in Wiltshire.

Probably 1 month to cover for provide injury cover , isn't Frank our 5th loaner we can't play all our loaners in one game can we ? so I guess he is here to provide cover , and what boss would'nt be happy to let him out with games against Norwich , Hartlepool and Leeds its as close to being in tha Championship as you can get without actually being in it , if you get my drift .

If you are right with the max 5 loanee in one game, I think we are OK. With Simon Ferry not available, we could play tomorrow Steve Darby, Alan Sheehan and Danny Ward, with probably Nouble and Ritchie starting on the bench if Marshall keeps his place and Easton comes in for a straight replacement for Ferry.

a 1 month loan suits both parties! If he's played a few games in the Prem, then he probably just needs match fitness which we can certainly give him at the moment given our striking options... and if he's good, he'll help us through this dire crisis till our own boys are back!! Win-Win situation, well done Danny!! And finally... the security word is taking the p*!s... "town-fast" - spookey!

Old Town I think thats how it works 5 max , and as you state with Ferry out it works just perfect for us , and the risk of another injury to a loaner in next few games so its a win win , good bit of business . Lets hope the back room boys have a shirt with Darby on it tomorrow Steve had no name or number at Southampton

You got that right ==> West Ham, Liverpool, Bolton...DW is a great man to be at the helm for a while yet!
Not sure yet if he is the man to lead us to Champions League Glory though - jury is out on that one! :-)
