Last Saturday we showed great bouncebackability after two defeats.
Brighton can be a hard place to go so it was pleasing to come away with the three points, Austin again showing his coolness in front of goal with a well taken finish.
Unfortunately we picked up three key injures during the game, each hamstring related which isn’t unusual at this stage of the season with games being more frequent and pitches getting worse with every game played.
Tuesday’s win was an amazing result. To do the double over one of the 'biggest' teams in the division is a real highlight. The star of the night for me was Jonathan Douglas running the show from midfield. Phil Smith showed us all what is he capable of as well, and we have him to thank for keeping them out at several times during the game.
Unfortunately not everything went our way, Simon Ferry was dismissed and is unavailable for the Norwich game which is a massive blow; Scott Cuthbert has joined the injury list but hopefully he won't be out for too long because he has been one of our best players this season.
Tuesday must have been a proud one in the Bodin household. Billy Bodin was named on the subs bench for the game and became the eighth player from the youth team to play a part on a matchday this season. This shows the fantastic work all the youth coaches at all levels are doing at Town and long may it continue.
Today we have another huge game against league leaders Norwich City, combined with the return of Anthony McNamee. When he left Town I thought we would struggle for pace in midfield, but with Wilson bringing in Matt Ritchie and Danny Ward we haven’t missed Macca since he left. Macca is starting a lot more recently and should make some sort of appearance today. Let’s hope it’s an unhappy return all round.
We last played Norwich at home in the league 11 years ago and on that occasion Town managed to earn a point. A lot of us would take that with the amount of injures in the squad, but if we perform like we did against Leeds, we’ll come away with all three points and move closer to that automatic promotion spot.

I remember Chris Hay scoring a hell of a goal against this lot about 12ish years ago to earn us a 1-0 win. Same again please Town.
