RHYS Evans will need to invest in a can of polish after a clean sweep of Town's player of the season awards.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper picked up not one, not two but five trophies before Saturday's goalless draw with Huddersfield.

As well as being crowned Swindon Advertiser player of the year, he was also the Swindon Town FC star man of 2004-5.

Manager Iffy Onuora threw the latter award in his goalkeeper's direction before the official presentation and was no doubt pleased to see that he caught it!

Evans was also the number one choice for both the Swindon Town Supporters Club and the Swindon Town Disabled Group.

And for his performances over the course of the season, Evans also picked up the Hospital Radio Most Consistent Player award.

Not that it was entirely Evans' day on the trophy front.

Teenage striker Lukas Jutkiewicz was presented with his Young Player of the Season award by Town youth team coach Ian Woan.

There was also some silverware for Jamie Cureton.

His decisive strike in the 1-0 win over Walsall was enough to earn him the Goal of the Season trophy.

Cureton was also runner up in the Adver player of the year stakes with skipper Sean O'Hanlon third.

Deputy chairman Mark Devlin presented Iain Huddy and Iris Higgs with their award as the Swindon Town Supporters of the Year.
