DARTS: Young throwers are sought

WILTSHIRE Youth Darts is looking for new players.

The club is based at Rodbourne Cheney Working Men’s Club and has a membership of over 60 young throwers.

It represents Wiltshire in the Southern BDO section and competes against other counties once a month with a squad of nine under 18s, three ladies under 21s and five under 21 men.

Players range from around 11 to 21 years of age and Wiltshire Youth Darts is looking particularly for under 21 ladies players and further sponsorship.

The first club’s super league night of the season is on August 18 at Rodbourne Cheney and starts at 7pm.

The club has its own website, www.wiltshireyouthdarts.co.uk, which can be viewed by those interested in joining, whilst a group on Facebook is also available to join.
