DANNY Wilson was left frustrated by a lack of killer instinct by Town in front of goal at Brunton Park this afternoon, which saw his side leave Cumbria with one point instead of three.

Wilson was pleased with the style of his Swindon side's performance in their draw with Carlisle United, but rued several missed clear-cut opportunities to take a maximum return from their long trip to the north west.

Charlie Austin was the main culprit, spurning a last minute chance akin to his Wembley miss in May.

But the striker, like many Robins players, put in a good shift for his manager and the team's display drew praise from the County Ground boss, albeit tinged with a little disppointment.

"You sometimes get half chances and you sometfrom the County Ground boss, albeit tinged with a little disppointmentimes get scrambles whch you say are half-chances, but we've had four great chances, but we haven't finished them off," he said.

"We'll take the positives. Carlisle are unbeaten and difficult to play at home, but really Dave (Lucas) has not had to make one save all game.

"We carved he best chances out, in particular in the second half when we opened ourselves up and played much better football."
