THERE were hat-tricks galore as Stratton Juniors Lions beat Stratton Youth 9-3 in Under 9 Division 3.

Lewis Aitken, Kieran Curtis and Jamie McConnell all netted trebles in the emphatic victory.

Pewsey Vale took an early lead against Stratton Juniors Tigers through William Hogg.

But a superb strike from George Herbert after the break earned Tigers a share of the points.

League Cup Under 10

Robins beat Wroughton Youth on penalties in the preliminary round of the League Cup.

Wroughton then netted two goals of their own, but Stewart-Skinner equalised with two minutes of normal time left.

After no goals were scored in extra time, the game went to penalties and Robins triumphed 2-1.

A hat-trick from Edward Barnett helped Highworth Town Juniors H to an 8-2 win over Shaw Eagles.

Elliot Wardroper, Dylan Boulton (2), Ethan Parker (1) and Jack Westlake (1) also found the net.

League Cup Under 11

SWINDON Rangers A began their defence of the Under 11 League Cup with a 23-goal victory against Ferndale.

Joe Tyson led the way with a double hat-trick, while Jamie Biles bagged four and Finley Thompson a treble.

Dan Hopper (2), Ethan Bond (2), Mitchell Cremin (2), Harry Dragg, Kyle Spackman, Brandon McGinn and Lou Brown were also on the mark.

Swindon Rangers took a second-half lead against Croft and added a second in the last minute. Finding the net for Croft were Harvey Coster and Harrison Lea.

Goals from Dexter Barrett, Kyle Meader-Harris and Kamran Muhid were not enough to prevent Ferndale YCFC losing 9-3 to a strong Chippenham side.

League Cup Under 12

HIGHWORTH Town Juniors went ahead early on against Liden Community through Josh Windsor.

Harry Ayres added a second and Lewis Haines scored straight from a corner, before Olly Le Bon rounded off the 4-0 victory.

A Luke Bolton double put Croft Blue 2-0 up against Cirencester Town, but the latter side pulled one back and then levelled with a late penalty.

In extra time Bolton completed his hat-trick as Croft took the win.

Ferndale Rodbourne pushed Downend Rangers all the way before finally losing 3-2.

Downend had taken an early 2-0 advantage before goals from Callum Ratcliffe and Samuel Roberts got Ferndale back in the game.

League Cup Under 16

MAN of the match Scott Garrett scored five goals after coming on as a substitute as Old Town United defeated Shaw 8-1.

Ashton Goddard and Robert Baldwin were among the goals, and there was also an own goal.

FC Abbeymeads came out 5-4 winners in an entertaining match against South Cerney.

On the scoresheet for Abbeymeads were Jamie Broadfield (2), Joel Goddard, Matt Huggins and Cameron Allan.

Croft Juniors B were 7-1 winners at Malmesbury. Goals from Brad Ford and Pat Norris gave Croft a 2-1 half-time lead, and Conor Lawrence (2), Tom Whatley (2) and Josh West netted after the resumption.

Under 9 Division 1

GREENMEADOW Youth ran out 5-2 victors against Shrivenham & Watchfield thanks to goals from Rowan Doyle (3), Ben Cardus and Thomas Lane.

Ferndale Rodbourne continued their impressive start to the season with a 2-1 home win over Croft. Luke Rouse bagged both Ferndale goals.

Ciaran Norris and Sam Morse pulled Liden Community level at 2-2 against Robins, but Michael Friend and Ashton Cobb netted for Liden to ensure a 4-2 win.

Highworth Town Juniors H ran out 4-2 winners against Wootton Bassett A at the Rec, with Liam Hares among the scorers for the home team.

Greenmeadow Youth scored four second-half goals to seal a 5-0 win over Ramsbury. Rowan Doyle bagged a brace and Ben Cardus, Thomas Lane, and Jamie White all hit singles.

Under 9 Division 2

CRICKLADE defeated Lambourn 2-0 thanks to goals from Jay Wilson and Harry Kearley.

Tom Moore put Wanborough ahead against Marlborough before the latter outfit equalised in the last minute of the first half, and then hit the winner in final minute of the match.

Under 10 Division 1

FERNDALE Rodbourne Pumas got their season up and running with a 7-4 win over FC Calne. Ferndale’s goalscorers were Brandon Lewis (5) and David Pike (2).

Swindon Rangers made it three wins out of three with a 10-0 home win against ASC Youth.

Regan Lach scored a hat-trick, while Charlie Begley, Gregor Thompson and Jack Paines chipped in with two apiece. Jack Lewis netted a single.

Under 10 Division 2

Swindon Rangers B continued their excellent start to the season with a 14-0 win against Blunsdon Colts.

Goals from Jack Smith (5), man of the match Jake Collis (4), Miles Arnold (4) and Connor Frayling sealed the points.

Under 11 Division 1

WELL-ORGANISED Forest Green Rovers beat Stratton Juniors A 5-0.

Under 11 Division 3JASON Werrell and Sebastian Hantakaross were the scorers for Chiseldon as they drew 2-2 with Stratton Youth. Jack Tyson hit a brace for Stratton.

In spite of well-taken goals from Leon Summers, Michael Uzzell and Nathan Bernhadt, Highworth Town Juniors slipped to a 6-3 defeat at Calne Royals.

Under 11 Division 4

FERNDALE Rodbourne Colts were 2-0 victors against Cirencester Town Centurions thanks to goals from Stephen Flower and Jay Lalli.

Under 12 Division 2

WOOTTON Bassett Town suffered a 5-1 defeat against Greenmeadow Youth, with Declan Cox scoring Bassett’s consolation goal.

Sam Jones (2), Oliver Matthews (2) and Charlie Britten were on the mark for Greenmeadow.

Under 13 Division 1

BOTH Swindon Supermarine and Ramsbury missed penalties in their contest but it was Supermarine who prevailed 3-1 courtesy of efforts from Matthew Lach, Brandon Watts and an own goal.

A superb Morgan Buckle hat-trick, including two long-range free kicks brought Shrivenham & Watchfield level at 3-3 against Wroughton Youth heading into the closing stages.

But in injury time Wroughton scored twice more to take all three points. Lewis Coppock, Connor Stack, Jordan Lea (2) and an own goal contributed to Wroughton’s total.

Under 13 Division 2

BRINKWORTH Cats came storming back from 3-0 down at half time to win 5-3 against Blunsdon Colts.

Mitchell Sutton and captain Ellis Whittington had given Blunsdon the advantage, only for Ronan Hollier, with his third hat-trick in three games, and Matt Donley (2) to hit back.

Shaw A and Croft Juniors shared the points in a 2-2 draw. Croft’s goals were scored by Louis O'Shea and Scott Hartley.

Under 13 Division 3

SEVENFIELDS took a 1-0 lead against South Cerney through Callum Goldsmith-Newman, before Cerney replied with four goals.

Sevenfields came roaring back with three of their own through Liam House, Keelan Boyce and Mitchell Pike.

Cerney scored twice more before Sevenfields’ Aaron Marvell netted a scrappy goal. Cerney then got another to seal a 7-5 win.

Under 14 Division 2

GREENMEADOW Youth and Pinehurst Rangers played out a 2-2 draw as Kyle Bowyer scored twice.

Alexander Cook gave Swindon Supermarine the lead against Croft but the equaliser came just before half time.

Cook put Supermarine ahead again early in the second half and then Brandon Wood, Callum Cook and Daniel Harry took the lead out further.

Croft pulled back a consolation towards the end, to make the final score 5-2.

Under 15 Division 1

A GOAL in each half from Olly Lowkis gave Wootton Bassett a 2-0 win over Malmesbury.

Kieran O'Daly opened the scoring for Chiseldon against Alderbury early on, before the equaliser came from a free kick.

O'Daly, Aiden Patterson and Evan Costello (pen) made it 4-1 before the break, and Alderbury netted twice in the second half.

Aiden Miller and Tom Glover gave Swindon Rangers a 2-1 win against Abbeymeads.

Under Division 2

FERNDALE Rodbourne raced to a 4-1 half-time lead against Fairford courtesy of goals from Tom Watts (2), Bradley Keene and Miles Frost.

Fairford pulled it back to 4-3 but a late goal from Bradley Keene sealed a 5-3 win for Ferndale.

Croft took an early lead in their encounter with Highworth through Taylor Godbold, before Highworth equalised. After the break Godbold netted again and Croft held on for the win.

Under 17/18 Division 1

WOOTTON Bassett Town beat Blunsdon Colts 7-0 in their first game of the season.

Bassett’s goalscorers were Ieuan Walton (2), James French, Alex Morley, Greg Davies, Jack Windel and Jamie Tuck.
