PREDICTIONS LEAGUE: Town v Burton
11:20am Friday 3rd February 2012 in Sport
SWINDON Town will look to follow up the fantastic win over Southend with another victory over Burton at the County Ground on Saturday.
The Brewers beat Swindon 2-0 back in September, given Paolo Di Canio's side added impetus to pick up all three points at the weekend.

Please note: Closing time for all posts is 2 hours before a daytime and 1.5 hours before an evening kick-off - to be fair to all there will be no exceptions here on in.
A post the other day said "All aboard the PDC Express - Get your tickets now"..well being honest I wouldn't want to try to board this Express Train as it is nearly at a full head of steam and it isn't stopping at any stations except Wembley on its way to the title!
Tuesday was a fantastic follow up to Saturday and following 2 very noisy away ends my voice is still a little croaky - great support but great team performances and worthy of every bit of support we can give them.
Onto Saturday..for the 1200 or so fans who went to Burton we are all wanting to see the just result as we were mugged up there..very cleverly but mugged all the same. Since then Burton have struggled to maintain their early form and have only gained 2pts from their last 5 games - Swindon on the other hand have gained....errm..15pts!
Easy then!?..not a chance as this Burton team aren't done and dusted as yet but given another hard working and skillful performance with clinical finishing as per Southend we should be confident.

I was going to ask when we might get a referee who will give us a break before they break one of our player's legs or a linesman who can spot a player catching a ball from 15yds away...but then no point! :-)

We will not loose again untill next season (at least).
P.S. When you do the draw for the cup next round you will need to make sure I'm at home cause my passport has lapsed.I'm also a 525km drive from Melbourne airport that may give me a slight advantage.

When you do the draw for the cup next round you will need to make sure I'm at home cause my passport has lapsed.I'm also a 525km drive from Melbourne airport that may give me a slight advantage. Many thanks once again for taking what must be a lot of time to run this competition,I'm sure like me that other overseas fans must feel more a part of this great season being involved in this competition.

Can't believe that I couldn't sell the television rights for the draw though - I mean we've got Dave a failed painter and decorater who cost a bottle of bud and Alfred a retired milkman who always sits in a specific chair so I'll get there first and won't move until he's finished drawing the away teams.

Now what TV Company could resist all of that along with my slight svelt figure and a face for radio?
