Freezing conditions hits Wiltshire football programme

FREEZING weather conditions has hit football fixtures across Wiltshire, with most of the county's teams having their games postponed.

Swindon Town's League Two clash with Burton was called off at 10am after a pitch inspection, despite the club's best efforts to thaw out the pitch overnight.

Elsewhere, Swindon Supermarine's home game against Redditch has also been called off, as has the game between Chippenham and Bashley and Cirencester's trip to Weymouth.
