THE PAOLO DI CANIO COLUMN: Playing in big stadiums

Wembley is the heart of international football and it will be great for our players to play there. It is a modern stadium, and just like the old Wembley it is only used for special occasions like the big international matches and the big cup finals, and for the play-off finals.

It is a special stadium and the atmosphere will be amazing.

It is a big stadium and England has lots of big stadiums like Old Trafford and Stamford Bridge.

I was very lucky to play in these stadiums when I was a player and there are many others too.

For me, Wembley is more special than all of them, because not everyone gets to play there but everyone wants to have the chance to do something special.

Upton Park for many reasons was very special for me. The atmosphere there was amazing for every match and I had some very special moments there for many years.

There were others too, like Arsenal and Tottenham which were very good, and so was the Stadium of Light, there are many special stadiums in this country.

I travel with my team and I like the tradition of English football, and I also like the old fashioned stadiums too because it reminds me of when I was young and watching English football.
