SWINDON Rangers A cruised into the final of the Under 10 League Cup after beating club rivals Swindon Rangers B 7-1.
The A team held a 2-0 lead at half time, and then added three more in a five-minute period after the interval.
Two more followed to take the tally to seven, although the B team found the net for a consolation.
Scoring for the A team were Charlie Begley (2), Jack Paines (2), Regan Lach, Gregor Thompson and Joel Sooben.
Highworth Town Juniors H booked their place in the final courtesy of a 5-2 triumph over Shaw A.
They went into a 2-0 lead thanks to a Harvey Flippance double, before Shaw replied to make it 2-1 at half time.
Dylan Boulton (2) and Flippance added further goals after the break, the latter completing his hat-trick. A late stike from Shaw finished off the scoring.
Ferndale took the lead through a deflected shot from Ashley Fowler, but Shrivenham & Watchfield equalised before half time.
Both teams went in search of a winner after the break and Shrivenham & Watchfield hit the post, while Ferndale's player of the match, goalkeeper Lewis Kirk, made a number of superb saves.
In extra time Shrivenham & Watchfield got themselves in front from the penalty spot, but Ferndale grabbed an equaliser before the final whistle, as a dazzling run from Luke Rouse drew a fine save from the goalkeeper, and Fowler was on hand to complete his double.
McGrogan hit home the winning penalty in the shootout to enable Ferndale to go through.
