SWINDON TOWN: Wembley tickets to go on sale next week

TICKETS for the final of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy will go on sale next week.

The Robins have been handed the West side of Wembley Stadium for the game against Chesterfield on March 25, with a ticket allocation of 30,600 for the game.

Prices will range from £26 to £60 for adults and £13 to £30 for concessions.

An exact date of when the tickets will go on sale is still to be confirmed by Swindon, but it is likely they will be first made available for season ticket holders, with tickets then going on general sale a week later.

Meanwhile, SAS Travel will start taking bookings for travel to the game from Thursday.

Tickets are priced at £20 for adults and £18 for juniors, with a one pound discount for Supporters Club Members on production of membership card.

Fans can book in person at the Swindon Town Supporters Club office at the County Ground, or by using the following contact details: E-mail sastravel@sky.com or ring the telephone answerphone service 01793 536757.

A booking schedule timetable can be found on the ‘Wembley 2012’ section of www.swindontownsupportersclub.com for booking hours and further details.

Better be quick and get a ticket as there will not be many available:

Don't forget its the Carling Cup Final this month involving Liverpool and Cardiff City. One team will smash the seats up, and the other will take the seats back with them !!

All joking aside I can't see tickets being a problem - fairly sure we only took just over 30,000 last time and I'm sure some will stay away on the basis that it's not an "important" fixture.

On trying to explain the idea behind a cup final to the missus this morning, her response was "so even if you win you'll still be in the same **** league as before, what's the point then?" All part of the stick the other half gives me for supporting a "cr@p" team. Happy valentine's day to you too pet...

Coach spaces will be far more limited than tickets for the match, so given it's very unlikely you'll have problems getting tickets, you would be best off sorting the travel out first. Can't see the problem there myself!
