Town announce 2012/13 season ticket prices

SWINDON Town have today announced their season ticket prices for the 2012/13 season.

The price for an adult to renew their season ticket will be £350 in the side stands and £320 in the Town End.

For new season ticket sign ups, an adult ticket in the side stands will be £380 and £350 in the Town End.

Under 10s will be able to attend matches for free, if they join the Junior Reds for a one-off cost of £25.

The club have also introduced a 12-month instalment plan to help make season tickets affordable.

By purchasing this way, an adult season ticket will cost £32.08 per month in the side stands and £29.58 per month in the Town End.

A joint statement from interim chairman Jeremy Wray and chief executive Nick Watkins in today's matchday programme read: "Since the club came under new ownership in January 2008, the board has is very best to keep season ticket prices low.

"The club has made a significant investment in the club since taking over and most recently in Paolo and his team, whilst also having resisted selling highly prized players, giving us a greater chance of back-to-back promotions.

"The prime objective has been to give all supporters a club to be proud of and we feel this has been achieved, but it comes at a price and so we need to re-asses the season ticket pricing."

Phase One ticket prices are for until March 31.

A key change is the closure of the Club Red scheme while half season tickets will not be offered.
