Blimey I realised we may win tonight but by 27 points Wow Roscoe must be elated with his riders and what a fantastic display from the lads truly superb. 8 paid 11 for Robin Aspegren is fantastic for the lad and he could be another great signing for Roscoe. Hans on top form and Troy with a fantastic 12 paid 14 looks like he has turned the corner at last. Well done the Robins.

I am so glad you all listened to me re Batch. I do hope he can now maintain this form but the need for speed at Belle Vue is less than at the Abbey so lets see how he fairs next week.

Great to see Batch back on top of his game. I'm with you oldlegtrailer, I felt sure he'd come good.
While its obviously great to win
I do feel a degree of sympathy with BV. We've been there and know its not nice.

I wouldn't get too carried away about the result or Batch just yet. Belle Vue are awful. Whilst I agree that he will come good, next week's matches against Wolves and Poole x 2 will give a lot better indication of whether his form is back. You can only beat whats in front of you though so good result last night. All on to Wolves away now!

Great to see Bach back in the points. This team has been strong enough to carry him when his form dipped so how good can we be if his form has returned?

Exactly swindonbob - the test will come on a fast track but even more on a fast track against Poole. I think his bikes so far looked slow but then he scores in Poland
I have to be honest I think our only chance against the Pirates is strength in depth or the Silent Assassin Killer who has to be the find of the year for any club - can Robin follow in his tracks?

You're only as good as your last match. So on that basis i'm going to just enjoy it for now. ;)

This was Belle Vue's highest ever defeat at Kirkmanshulme lane. Swindon took advantage of the homes sides misfortune but it has to be a confidence boost so roll on the home meeting with Poole. Hopefully they can leave Wolves with points Monday evening. Shame the promotion could not re-arrange a rained off meeting for this coming Thursday, but I am sure they are concerned about clashing with Malcolm Holloways funeral .

A non-contest but some good racing. The talking point for me, although no-one else it seems, was when Gjedde Knocked Nick Morris off of his riding line. Ref thought it was ok but looking at Morris's reaction going back to the pits, I don't think he was too impressed.
