  I agree with LR - I think Rooney is a great player, especially in our system of inverted wingers with overlapping full backs. I'd be very happy with Ritchie and Rooney as our first choice wingers next season, although clearly we don't have much strength in depth in these areas.
  
  McEvely would be a far more important signing than Holmes, in my opinion."
