Don't usually nit pick but spelling errors (fell? Do you mean felt?) are very poor if you are a journo. The written word is your tool of craft and this is embarrassing. However, I enjoy the adver site whether articles are breaking, exclusive or just filler on a slow news days but come on; its insulting to your readers if you can't spell the most basic of words.

haha, that really bothers me too. Even when I'm reading a paper and find spelling mistakes, I think we even have spell checker now. But as for the actual piece of news. Yes I agree, we were **** and now we're not

I too am irritated by the continual spelling mistakes and missing words in The Adver ! Nothing new about it though and with so many folk texting and using " text speak " I expect it to get worse !

Didn't know we had a spell checker, when did that happen? 'fell' was a typing error no doubt but being a word would not have registered with a spellchecker.
Most trouble seems to be caused with the use of 'there,their, and they're' but there you go.

An interesting article and good to hear Ritchie, arguably our best, most 'shop window' player is happy at the club. Contract extension on the cards?

The first one that I spotted was the use of the word "hopefully", which is continually used incorrectly.
Ritchie said, "Hopefully the fans have enjoyed it."
I think he meant, "I hope that the fans have enjoyed it."

However, THE most irritating is "would of", "could of", "should of".
Is it just the brain dead that don't know that it should be "would've, could've, should've" OR "would have, could have, should have"

Please be kind enough to define exactly who you deem to be "you lot".

I will always remember matt for those two cracking goals at The don valley on the coldest day I have ever watched in 38 years. One of the goals he hit so well on the floor I thought it went miles wide untill the net rippled.
One of many memories from last season Lso that fantastic first goal at home to the pikeys, then sunbathing on the beach in cube waiting for my sun to text the score on the port vale game, that's when it all became clear that the bookies was paying out thousands of pounds to our fans who had big punts on them winning the league after such a poor start.

Thank the Lord for a relevant post. Don't give a stuff about the spelling but I do give a stuff about Matt's role with this club. He's been the best player for us for two seasons now and the important point is that he was the best player in a struggling side in the division above last season.
A real talent and a real pro. I'll be happy when he signs the contract extension.
