I wouldn't write connell off yet either-top scorer last season plus with bodin likely to stay would leave us with 3 strikers if he left too. Not a starter but would still bag a load of goals off the bench in L1. Very good starting 11 and bench. Now need a cb and gk and that should be it. No need for bostock now unless signings dont work out.
Agree about Bostock. I would have loved him here for the season even if only on loan, but I see all our recent signings as being competitive for starting positions, and more importantly, Town players.
What ever happens to John Bostock I will remember him as being the of those that got away, and wish him well for his future."

McEveley makes permanent move

DEFENDER Jay McEveley has made his move to Swindon Town permanent.

The former Barnsley player spent the end of last season on loan at the County Ground, and has now signed a two year deal.

McEveley has become Town's sixth signing of the summer, following James Collins, Andy Williams, Alan Navarro, Gary Roberts and Tommy Miller.
