Chippenham face Hemel Hempstead on opening day

CHIPPENHAM Town will travel to Hemel Hempstead Town on the opening day of the Evo-Stik League Southern Premier Division season.

Nathan Rudge’s Bluebirds go to the Hertfordshire side, who avoided relegation from the Premier Division last season when they were handed a reprieve, on August 18.

On Tuesday, August 21, Chippenham welcome Weymouth to Hardenhuish Park while their first meeting of the season with local rivals Frome Town will take place six days later on Monday, August 27, at Badgers Hill.

Meanwhile in Division One South & West, relegated Cirencester Town travel to Mangotsfield Town on the opening day.

A midweek clash at home to North Leigh follows before they travel to local rivals Swindon Supermarine on Monday, August 27.

Shortwood United host Bryan Hughes’ side on Boxing Day while it’s a New Year’s Day derby clash at home to Swindon Supermarine on January 1.

Ciren’s campaign finishes with a home fixture against Poole Town on Saturday, April 27.
