MILLWALL boss Kenny Jackett expects Swindon Town target Darren Ward to complete his move to the County Ground before the transfer window closes tomorrow.
The Advertiser photographed the 33-year-old defender while in Swindon for talks last Thursday, and the South London Press are reporting a loan with a view to a permanent move is set to be concluded in the next 36 hours.
And Lions boss Jackett believes the deal should go through.
"It seems it. I think that it is probably moving to a conclusion but it isn't sealed yet," he said.

.
PdC does winning and if he can get better players in he will!
.
As for age see other thread - Miller was questioned over being 33 and he is a midfielder not a CB - he has proven everyone wrong and I'm certain Ward will too
.
Millwall fans are gutted he is going as he is a real favourite there
.
I can't wait for him to sign as he is a quality defender and will only aid our quest

He's a CB - not sure how signing a quality player who has L1 promotion, Championship and Premiership experience is strange

- we are already looking to sign another defender
- we have good coverage already.
- we need cover at LB and RB and he is a CB
etc.
==> Good player or not it doesn't fit with what I thought we'd be in the market for

I'm not always happy with the numbers of signing Paolo has made but he has always tried to improve the team and if, as is being reported, it is a loan deal to start with then we have nothing to lose.

So instead of an RB for Caddis it is a CB "for" Devera
.
Bessone in at LB takes us back to 8 with Smith as additional cover
.
Ward is quality and PdC should only be getting praise for him coming not questions

Is he FB or CB?
..
Just seems strange given the move for Bassone - unless this is a back-up plan
