SWINDON’S Jason Doyle has suffered a suspected broken jaw but the rider insists he will be fit to ride against Belle Vue on Thursday.
The in-form Aussie crashed while racing in Poland yesterday but has not yet had the damage confirmed by a doctor.
Doyle is due to have an X-ray tomorrow but the outcome is not expected to affect whether he rides against the Aces in the Elite League this week.
“He thinks he’s broken his jaw but he assures me he’ll be fine for Thursday,” said Robins boss Alun Rossiter.
“With injuries speedway riders are a different breed - at least it means he can keep his mouth shut!”
