Purton speedway star targets British success

Purton ’s Darryl Ritchings is going for glory in the British Under 19 Final this evening.
The youngster, who rides for Dudley Heathens in the National League, will compete against 15 of the country’s best young riders at Sheffield’s Owlerton track.
Sheffield promoter Neil Machin believes the event is the perfect opportunity for the youngsters to get their names known.
“These are the names who will rise through the ranks of British speedway in the not too distant future and it’ll be great to see them all competing at Sheffield,” he said.
