SUPERMARINE played out a drab goalless draw with visitors Yate in the preliminary round of the FA Trophy.

Josh Parsons and Ash Edenborough had Marine’s best chances of the game early on.

However, neither side could break the deadlock and the replay is scheduled to go ahead at Lodge Road on Tuesday.

A Sam Collier penalty and a late Sam Packer effort were not enough to prevent Cirencester losing 3-2 to Guildford in the same competition, while in the Southern Premier, Chippenham were beaten 1-0 at Banbury thanks to a Jack Ashton second-half header.

Fairford drew 3-3 with Hook Norton in FA Vase second round qualifying while Shrivenham were dumped out after losing 4-0 against Cheltenham.

In Division One West, Wootton Bassett lost for the first time in the league this season.

Lee Bowen’s goal was not enough to prevent the Rylands Way side being sunk 3-1 at Clanfield.

Dean Hughes (2), Adam O’Bree and Gareth Davies registered for Cricklade in their 4-1 thumping of Malmesbury.

Lambourn won 3-0 at North Leigh Reserves and Ryan Stanners and Gio Wrona netted for New College in the 2-1 victory at Purton.
