ELITE LEAGUE PLAY-OFF SPECIAL: Dawid promises more

Dawid Lampart Dawid Lampart

RESERVE Dawid Lampart has promised a much-imporved display when he returns to Perry Barr this evening.

The Pole failed to score from his three rides as the Robins won their final regular-season meeting, on what was his first visit to the second city.

While Lampart was not happy with his display, he believes he will up his game as the Robins look to come away with a victory in their semi-final first leg tie.

“I tried my best but it was the first time I had been on the track, so things were very difficult for me,” he said.

“But we can go back there on Monday and I can go again, and I know what the line is.

“I learnt very much about the track and I promise it will be better.

“I have had the same problems this season when I rode at King’s Lynn, and I did not do very well there the first time and didn’t score many points.

“But then I went there the second time and I took 10 or 11 points, and if I can do the same on Monday I will be very happy.”
