SPECTRUM clawed back a two-goal half-time deficit to earn a point from a 3-3 draw at Queensfield in the Swindon & District League Premier Division.
Queensfield had cantered into an early lead, with two goals from Simon Hiscox and one from Trevor Spencer seemingly putting the hosts on the way to an important victory. However, having scored once in the first half, Craig Kelly netted twice more after the break to pull Spectrum back into the game.
Fratellos trounced DJC Marlborough 6-1 thanks to goals from Brian Fitzgerald (2), Luke Quince, Steve Bunting, Rich Plumb and Rick Flanagan.
Village Inn overwhelmed Highworth Town A 5-0, with goals from Grant Warwick, Craig Alexander (2), Andy Drinkwater and Bryan Halstrap.
In Division One, Sportz Central found Ferndale WMC too hot to handle, as Justin Hyde scored two goals for the visitors in their 4-1 away win. James Watt and Danny Knight also got their names on the scoresheet for Ferndale.
Strikes from Gaz Jones and Zhenca Foctel helped Bassett Bulldogs see off Tap & Barrel 2-0. Leaders Old Town United comfortably beat Swindon Spitfires 3-0, with goals from leading scorer James Welen, Chris Wood and Martin James. Jeremy Martin’s strike for Ramsbury earnt his side a point in their 1-1 draw with Larry’s Plaice.
