PENHILL’S Kelvin Young is likely to lead a line up of seven local professional fighters in Swindon on November 1.

The IBO super-middleweight intercontinental champion is set to be the main attraction in his manager and promoter Keith Mayo's latest show after the date was confirmed yesterday.

The Advertiser understands that the 27-year-old's manager is in talks with IBO world champion Donovan George and his representatives about a potential shot for the Swindon star in the new year.

Young's fight, against an European opponent, is set to be the main event with six Swindon boxers also likely to be on the show.

Southern Area champion Lawrence Bennett will be looking to get over the disappointment of missing out on a British title shot and welterweight Ryan Martin is set to make his return from injury on the card.

Paddy Fitzpatrick has said he is in talks about Garvey Kelly and Luke Watkins both featuring.

As well as promising Swindon-based light heavyweight Tariq Quaddus who will also likely be involved and Danny Bharj is set for his debut.
