JAMES Townsend will join Horseshoe ABC clubmate Jack O’Reilly at tomorrow’s Western Counties Finals in Devizes.
The Horseshoe fighter defeated Yeovil’s Moussha Mabbood in his semi-final on points in a scrappy contest in the 64-69 kilogram division.
Jockey Felix De Giles, representing Walcot ABC, is also expected to compete in the finals in the 60-64kg division, while Anthony Sykes, from Fitzpatrick’s Gym, will be fighting in the 81-91kg division.
The winners from tomorrow’s contest will then go through to the ABA Senior Novices All England quarter-finals with the Western Counties boxers facing opponents from London on Saturday, October 11, at the Next Generation, Kembrey Park, in Swindon.
Boxing starts at2pm admission £10 adults, under 14s £5.
