TWO young Walcot boxers take centre stage tonight in Bournemouth, writes Dave Veysey.
Bill Harris and Freddie Bond, both 11, are in action at the WW Club and Institute in Bournemouth.
Harris takes on Bailey Hibbs from Bournemouth ABC, the host club.
Both lads have enjoyed one win from their two bouts to date, so this looks like a well-matched contest.
Whilst Bond, fresh from his successful debut, encounters the unbeaten Lloyd Farrington from the Team Wiseman Gym in Portsmouth.
Walcot chief coach Harry Scott is looking forward to the challenge that awaits his boxers, saying: “Both these youngsters are good lads who train hard and deserve their chance.
“I hope that they can hold their nerve and perform to the level that they are capable of.”
