KELLY Morgan will continue her fast track to the top next month when she faces Elene Sikmashvili in Swindon.
The Swindon-based former 2002 Commonwealth Games bronze medallist made her professional boxing debut back in July and required just 94 seconds to dispatch Klaudia Vigh in Bath.
But 35-year-old middleweight Morgan faces a stiffer test on KM Promotions’ Lights Out show at the Oasis Leisure Centre on Saturday, October 24, as Georgian Sikmashvili will head to Wiltshire with only one defeat to her name in nine bouts, four of her wins coming inside the distance.
Meanwhile, the Paddy Fitzpatrick-trained duo, Luke Watkins and Garvey Kelly, will also be fighting on the same bill.
The Ferndale Road-trainer, who is currently in Las Vegas with George Groves ahead of their WBC super-middleweight world title fight against Badou Jack, held talks with promoter Keith Mayo last week to get his undefeated cruiserweight Watkins and welterweight prospect Kelly on the Swindon show.
