JAMIE Cox has had his WBO European super-middleweight title defence moved to Dublin next weekend.
The Swindon southpaw was set to headline at the Harrow Leisure Centre on Friday night live on Box Nation.
However, the 28-year-old’s promoter Frank Warren this afternoon said that the 2006 Commonwealth Games gold medallist will cross the Irish Sea to fight at the National Stadium in Dublin on Saturday, November 7 again on Box Nation.
Cox, who won his title in the summer with a first round stoppage of Blas Miguel Martinez and ranked eighth with the WBO, will face Hungarian Ferenc Albert on the undercard of Jamie Conlan’s WBO inter-continental super-flyweight title defence.
