JAMIE Cox’s return to the ring has been postponed after Saturday’s show in Frankfurt was cancelled this morning.

The 30-year-old former WBO European super-middleweight champion was itching to get into the ring after his career was put hold following his court case in March.

The unbeaten fighter, who has not fought since last November, was set to appear on the undercard of Marco Huck’s IBO cruiserweight world title defence against British champion Ovill McKenzie.

However, the Derby-based Jamaican, who was absent from yesterday’s press conference in Frankfurt claiming that he misplaced his passport, has been forced to withdraw on medical grounds.
