EXPERIENCED local boxer Andrew McCaffrey will make his debut at MECA at Neilson Promotions’ next white collar boxing show on Friday, December 16.
McCaffrey, a former kickboxing champion and ex-professional, will take on Birmingham’s Stewart Tordoff over four two-minute rounds.
Tordoff is also an ex-professional who fought out of former world champion Richie Woodhall’s stable.
Swindon MMA heavyweight Dave Gregory meets Trowbridge’s big-hitting Luke Martin in what is sure to be an exciting showdown.
Another local MMA boxer, Rich Loveday is also on the bill, taking on Sean Curran while a rematch between Jake Bonner and John Jennings will see the pair once again give their all until the final bell.
Other fights include Lee Penny vs Alan Harris, Mark Johnson vs Marcin Janecki, Aiden Hills vs Neil Pickering, Luke Boswell vs Arfan Khan and a grudge match between local novices Robbie Burton and Luke Richards.
Promoter Mark Neilson said: “We’re keeping the price as low as we can at only £20 a ticket, whilst still putting on as many fights as we can, as we appreciate it is tough times for fight fans.
“With local ex-pro and Neilson Promotions regular Ricky Porter controlling the action, you can rest assured that the bouts will keep flowing and the decisions will be fair.”
The night also includes an after-party, live DJ and doors open at 7.30pm until late.
Tickets are now available at MECA, Aligra Personnel (4 Commercial Road), www.swindontickets.co.uk, from any of the fighters or on the door.
