THE CLARKE XI were winners of the White Horse Six a Side tournament on Sunday.
The Clarkes, skippered by Nationwide House opener Nick Clarke, saw off the home club in the final while Wootton Bassett came third and Wroughton Wranglers fourth.
The Ardington Occasionals beat the Adver Allstars, who were captained by Swindon Robins manager Alun Rossiter, in the wooden spoon play-off.
Rosco, who admitted having not played since his school days, was twice run out by Adver chief sports writer Sam Morshead.
Jonny Clarke was named the best batsman for racking up 101 runs in the day, while Jack Watling took five wickets to be top bowler.
The event raised money in aid of the club and its chosen charity, Breast Care at Ridgeway.
