PURTON’S Craig Miles will join the next generation of England fast bowlers for a South Africa training camp next month.
Sixteen young England quickies from across the men’s and women’s development programmes will travel to the High Performance Institute of Sport in Potchefstroom for intensive skill based, strength and conditioning training camps from February 2 under the guidance of PEPP head coach Neil Killeen.
England’s Steven Finn, Chris Woakes and Chris Jordan are all graduates of the programme.
Former Braden Forest school pupil Miles signed a deal to stay with Gloucestershire until the end of the 2017 season in 2013, having made his debut against Northamptonshire in May 2011.
