ANDY Compton’s club record knock of 135 not out helped Compton hammer Purton A in Division One of the Monahans Midweek Cricket League.

Jamie Baden added 72 as Compton made 234-0, with a demoralised Purton managing only 129-4 in reply.

Wootton Bassett A remain top after they notched up a comfortable 63-run win at NALGO.

Bassett made 186-7 before NALGO were restricted to 123-4, Luke Smith doing the damage with three wickets.

Nationwide 1 annihilated Intel after bowling their opponents out for 30. They then secured victory in just 37 deliveries.

Stratton saw off White Horse after they reached 148-5 and then kept White Horse down to 110-8.

KC Club head Division Two in spite of tying against United Churches, after the former failed to score the two runs needed off the last ball.

United Churches initially scrambled to 122-7, before Phil Tonks and Tom Lentschner just missed out on making the winning run in KC’s reply.

Nomads suffered defeat to high-flying Wroughton after being dismissed for 72, Chris Blackwell taking a terrific 5-10.

In reply, Joel Granger worked his way to 36 as Wroughton made the required total.

Wanborough’s Will Smith hit 57 and Rich Cox 53 as they rattled up 170-5 against winless Sevenfields.

Despite a brave 32 from Tom Foreman, Sevenfields could only muster 127.

Wootton Bassett B caught seven victims as Alcatel-Lucent were all out for 74.

Jack Paish made 38 unbeaten runs in 25 balls as Bassett B posted 75-3.

In Division Three, Haydon Wick stayed top after a resounding win over Nationwide 2, while Lawn saw off Anchor.

Lydiard Millicent continued their resurgence with a victory over Monahans and Purton B overcame npower.

In Division Four, Motorola beat Dolphin, while Ashbury defeated Wroughton.
