ASIANS remain unbeaten in Division One of the Indoor Cricket League after registering a comprehensive five-wicket victory over Wroughton.
Wootton Bassett are in pursuit however, with their latest win coming against Wanborough by four wickets.
In Division Two, Swindon can claim bragging rights after their 16-run defeat of Swindon 2nd. Swindon posted 124-5, with Paul Sore hitting 31, and despite David Novais’ 36 the second team left themselves too much to do later in their innings.
KC Club made it three consecutive wins by beating Nalgo 2nd by 38 runs. Richard Kewell contributed 61 as Nalgo were bowled out for 73.
South West enjoyed a good three-wicket success over Minety in Division Three thanks chiefly to Ian Hobbs’ unbeaten 26, while Shrivenham 2nd thumped Woodlands by a massive 77 runs in a game littered by 54 extras.
In Division Four, United Churches defeated Shrivenham 3rd by four wickets, while Wanborough 3rd are still seeking that elusive first victory, having gone down to Motorola by 20 runs.
