FARINGDON Town Reserves closed the gap at the top of Division Three by winning 2-1 at Marcham Reserves in the only match played in the division.

Ady McFarland and Charlie Bodie scored the Faringdon goals with George Wood netting for the home side.

Didcot Casuals took advantage of many of their main rivals at the top of Division One having a day off due to waterlogged pitches to jump to the top of the table following a narrow 1-0 win over Saxton Rovers.

Long Wittenham Athletic defeated bottom side Childrey United 4-1 with Dean Jones netting twice alongside Matt Saunders and Andy Sutherland.

Benson AFC and Sutton Courtenay shared the points in a 1-1 draw.

Division Two pacesetters Abingdon United Reserves were held to a 2-2 draw at home by Dorchester while Marcham won 2-0 at bottom side Benson Lions.

Westminster moved closer to the league leaders in Division Four following a 5-1 home win over bottom side Stanford-in-the-Vale Reserves.

Wootton & Dry Sandford Reserves also won 5-1, against Coleshill United Reserves, with Matt Cook scoring twice. Darren Webster, Chris Shahab and Deniev Yurlan fired their other goals and even Coleshill’s goal was scored by a Wootton player.

Berinsfield Reserves cemented their place at the top of Division Five with a resounding 11-3 win over Uffington United.

Faringdon Town A kept in touch with the leaders following a 2-1 win at Challow. Matt Curtis and a Nick Wojciak penalty won it for Faringdon. Challow scored through Jake Eyley.
