MUCH OF the North Wilts Youth League programme was wiped out by the heavy rain across the region over the weekend, but a few games survived and Robins celebrated in style with an 18-1 victory over Trowbridge Wanderers in the Under 11 County Cup.

Trowbridge briefly held the lead after opening the scoring in the first minute, but they were then overwhelmed by their Swindon hosts.

Cameron Braganza-Osman fired seven goals, Harrison Mace and Jude Collins both hit hat-tricks, Jordan Murray and Bradley Hirst netter braces and Zac Stewart-Skinner also got his name on the scoresheet.

Swindon Rangers A also secured progression to the next round of the competition with an emphatic 8-2 victory over Westbury Youth A.

In Under 10 Division One, Croft Juniors Red continued their good recent run with a 7-0 win over Shrivenham & Watchfield.

Tyger-J Hall and Jed Phillips both netted braces in the first half, while Spencer Bunce and Kieran Sutton also scored to send Croft into the break six goals to the good.

After half-time Ewan Campbell registered his first goal for the club to complete the scoring as Croft consolidated second place in the league table.

In Under 9 Division 1, Shrivenham & Watchfield moved to within two points of table-topping Croft Juniors Red with a 2-0 win at FC Chippenham A.

FC Calne and Stratton Juniors drew 1-1.

League leaders Swindon Supermarine J emerged victorious from the first-versus-second clash with Lambourn Sports in Under 9 Division 3. Marine won 4-0 to go four points clear of their hosts in the table.

FC Chippenham B beat Cricklade Youth 3-1.

Wroughton Youth White eased past FC Chippenham C 8-0 in Under 9 Division 4.

In Under 10 Division 2, Ramsbury Juniors gained ground on league leaders Swindon Rangers with a 3-1 victory at Lambourn Sports.

Ramsbury moved to within two points of Rangers in second with the win, while Lambourn remain sixth.

FC Chippenham B are three points behind Ramsbury after their 2-2 draw at home to Wroughton Youth Blue.

Croft Juniors Blue leapfrogged above Pewsey Vale in the Under 10 Division 3 table with a 4-1 home success against their midtable opponents.

Robins saw off Ferndale Rodbourne Pumas 5-0 in Under 11 Division 1. The hosts scored twice in the first half and three more times after the break to secure all three points.

In Under 11 Division 2, Pewsey Vale slipped up 4-1 at home to Shaw Eagles while, in Under 11 Division 3, Robins B beat Lambourn Sports 3-2.

FC Chippenham were singing in the rain after a 6-1 defeat of South Cerney in Under 14 Division 3.
