FARINGDON Town Reserves stayed in touch with the leaders in Division Three following a 4-1 home win over Marcham Reserves.

Damian Francis netted twice alongside goals from Dan Oyston and Glenn Townsend. Russell Comley scored for Marcham.

Harwell International Reserves took over at the top of the division after a 3-1 win over Didcot Casuals.

Saxton Rovers become the fourth side in as many weeks to sit at the top of North Berks League Division One following a 7-0 demolition of Sutton Courtenay, as Kyle Allsworth helped himself to a hat-trick.

Tom Allsworth, Frankie Haines, Louis Bloomfield and Martin Young were also amongst the goals for the new league leaders.

The bottom two sides, East Hendred and Childrey United, played out a 1-1 draw to remain in place at the foot of the table. Craig Tizzard netted for Hendred with Mike Cannings responding for Childrey.

Ardington & Lockinge are the new leaders of Division Two following their 8-1 demolition of Saxton Rovers Reserves. Jonny Eudell found the back of the net four times, while Adam Hogan, Chris Hunt, Kye Dean and Rob Joyce scored their other goals. Dan Hosier grabbed the consolation for Saxton.

Drayton ran out 4-2 winners at bottom side Benson Lions.

In Division Four, high-flying Turnpike Sports were turned over 7-4 by struggling Steventon Reserves.

James Phillips scored four goals as Warborough United ran riot at home to Stanford-in-the-Vale Reserves, winning 8-0.

Faringdon Town A climbed to the top of Division Five despite being held to a 3-3 draw by Grove Rangers Reserves. A Nick Wojciak double and a Lee Ruddle strike were cancelled out by a Jon Wells brace and a Steve Wiener effort.

There were no upsets to report in the Third Round of the North Berks Cup. Harwell International came back from two down against their fellow First Division opponents Didcot Casuals only to final succumb to a 4-2 home defeat.

Long Wittenham Athletic beat AFC Wallingford 2-1 thanks to goals from Dean Jones and Sam Sheppard. Benson AFC ran out 5-0 winners at home to Hagbourne United from Division Three, Kintbury Rangers went one better by winning 6-0 at home to Division Four side Westminster and Faringdon Town had a comfortable 4-0 win at Second Division Marcham.

Mark Ingram bagged two and Dave Murphy and Luke Saunders also scored for Berinsfield as they won 4-1 at Third Division Stanford-in-the-Vale.

It was a mixed bag for North Berks League sides in the third round of the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup.

Division Three pacesetters Childrey United Reserves saw off Kennington Reserves of the Oxfordshire Senior League Division Two 3-1 thanks to goals from Neil Smith, Wayne Gregory and Tom Weeks.

Marc Reid scored twice as Wantage Town A won the all North Berks League Division Two encounter 2-1 at Coleshill United for whom Dan Bradbury scored.

Mike Kent and Luke Ambler scored for Division Four side Radley in their 2-2 draw at Reading League Division Three outfit Compton, but they were eventually knocked out 4-3 on penalties.

Kintbury Rangers Reserves succumbed to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Westwood United Reserves.
