BOSS Dave Webb has re-signed two members of his 2012/13 Supermarine squad for the upcoming season as well as a new face from the South Marston side’s Southern League rivals.

Midfielder Rob Dean and goalkeeper Kent Kauppinen both put pen to paper on new deals at Marine’s first pre-season training session on Tuesday.

Winger Josh Morse, who briefly featured for Cirencester last term and has played for England Colleges, has also joined Marine for 2013/14.

Trialist striker Luke Abrahart, a Woodford United player in Division One Central last season, held talks with Webb following the first training session.

Defender Dave Bampton, linked with moves to Hungerford and Maidstone, has verbally committed to signing while stalwarts Kyle Lapham and Danny Allen look set to rejoin.

“We will be looking to add a couple, two or three, maybe four, between now and the start of the season,” said Webb.

“I think it’s just going to be a bit of a waiting game and a bit of patience is needed to get the right ones.

“There are players out there that you can go and get in, but hopefully I can get the three or four that I need.”

Elsewhere, Supermarine are seeking volunteers to help out at the Webb’s Wood Stadium ahead of Tuesday’s prestige friendly against Swindon Town.

Supporters are urged to come along from 10am on Saturday.

Meanwhile, plans for the redevelopment of Fairford Town Football Club and adjacent land go on show to the public today.

The proposed planning application to Cotswold District Council would provide a new football club, 24 retirement flats and up to 200 new family homes.

The plans can be viewed at Fairford Town Council Offices from 11am-6pm today and from 10am-3pm tomorrow.
