HIGHWORTH Town marched into the last 32 of the FA Vase as they claimed a 1-0 win at Blackfields & Langley in the second round proper this afternoon.
John Fisher’s side surpassed their best-ever run in the national competition and also gained revenge over the side that knocked them out of the FA Cup back in August.
Top-scorer TJ Bohane had a spot-kick saved by home keeper Scott O’Rourke but the Highworth striker wasn’t to be denied his 26th goal of the season as he fired home the winner to leave the Worthians with a triumphant journey back from Hampshire.
