FC ABBEY Meads Youth made it 10 wins in a row after overcoming Swindon Supermarine 3-0 in Under 13 Division One.

Charlie Begley, making his debut, opened the scoring after a good move started off by Chelsea Babieri.

In the second half Meads’ Harry Rule and Jamie Harrison completed the scoring, after good work from Brandon Lewis. Kain Chivers and Logan Plumley also had good games for Meads.

Under 13 Division 3

JACOB Pile opened the scoring for Old Town United against Stratton Juniors Panthers.

A loose ball picked up by Alex Townsend allowed them to double their lead in the second half before Stratton hit back late on, Old Town keeper Duncan Clarke performing admirably after the recent loss of his father.

Under 11 Division 1

MAN-of-the-match Rhys Ward helped himself to a brace as Swindon Supermarine J swept aside Chippenham Town 4-1.

A cross from Zachary Evans found Ward in acres of space to smash home before Harry Johnson leaped highest from a corner to bullet a header past the keeper.

Chippenham halved the deficit before half-time but Swindon continued to boss the game in the second half and Ward pounced on a defensive error to round the keeper and slot home.

Evans grabbed the fourth when he ghosted in at the far left-hand post.

Under 12 Division 1

WANBOROUGH conceded three goals quickly against Croft Junior Red, Tom Moore responding with a penalty won by Will Sumner.

Supermarine M were up against a strong Croft side who scored on 20 minutes as Kieran Sutton slid home the opener.

In the second half Marine’s Jack Wilmot equalised from a well-moved corner before Tommy Lawrence flicked on at the near post for Thomas Hayes to volley home from four yards.

Under 12 Division 4

FC ABBEY Meads started strongly in their game against Chiseldon.

The breakthrough came when Ben Wollen hit a superb shot from 20 yards.

Chiseldon fought back in the second half but were denied by Josh Hodson until they hit a last-minute equaliser.

Under 14 Division 2

FERNDALE Rodbourne went top of the division with a 1-0 win against Supermarine G.

Afonso Alves Ferreira scored the goal and Jason Werrell earned his team’s player of the match award.

Under 14 Division 3

FERNDALE Rodbourne Colts endured a 0-0 draw against Liden.

Ferndale went close to scoring through Ben Simons and Lucas Peachey with Liden’s attacking threat stifled by a man of the match performance from Sam Stokes.

Under 16 Division 1

SWINDON Supermarine missed a number of chances in the first half against Liden Community Green.

After the break they scored four times, with two goals each from Biagio Mazzotta and Louis O’Shea.

Under 16 Division 2

HIGHWORTH Town Juniors T kept up their unbeaten run with a 1-0 away win against Brinkworth Cats Red at Ballard’s Ash.

Despite missing a penalty, they secured the win with a well-taken first half goal from Ollie Mulraney.

Sevenfields United came from a goal down to to draw 1-1 with Cirencester Town.

Sevenfields captain Aaron Marvell made two goal-line clearances but Kamil Singh’s man of the match performance and Bradley Marvell’s header earned the spoils.

Under 17/18 Division 1

A BRENDOR Nkegbe brace and goals from Jack Lucas and Joe Miller helped Swindon Supermarine to a 4-1 win at Wootton Bassett.

Nkegbe opened the scoring thanks to an excellent Aiden Miller through ball and Lucas added a second.

Nkegbe struck again from an Ayus Darlami cross before half time and Miller added the fourth from Kallum Cooper’s pull-back.
