ABBEY Meads Rangers had to come from a goal behind to seal the Under 11 Division Three title.

Wroughton Blue opened the scoring when pressure on the Rangers defence saw the hosts concede an own goal.

However, Rangers, who have not been beaten this term, levelled when Kevin Prouse played in Giovanni Pungitore to score.

Wroughton then regained the lead and they looked to stretch their lead even further but the Meads defence, along with keeper Brandon Ricketts, kept them at bay.

Meads restored parity when Prouse curled home a stunning free-kick.

The win and the title was sealed in the second half when Dejan Broja deflected a corner into the path of Jack Lampard , who netted his 17th of the season to make it 3-2.

In the second period, Joah Hall, Luke Legg and Zachary Evans all had chance for Marine before the final whistle.
