The Chalkboard

JOHN Fisher takes a simple approach to the game, lining up his side in a solid 4-4-2.
The back four is a rigid line, with Ashley Taylor’s size and aerial ability complimented by Sam Wadieh’s tenacity.
John Davoile is the key man in midfield, he will look to release the wingers into the channels.
In general the Worthians will look to play diagonal balls towards hot shot striker TJ Bohane, making the most of the striker’s ability to find the net. Bohane has 37 in 39 games so far this season, but he is well supported by the clever movement of Callum Parsons, who acts as a good foil.

A man in form: Callum Parsons

Swindon Advertiser:

CALLUM Parsons, of course, was the hero at Tadcaster, but goals are not his biggest asset.
Highworth boss John Fisher believes he is very lucky to have his quarter final match-winner and that Parsons could well be playing at a higher level.
Fisher is a fan of Parsons’ clever movement and ability on the ball.
His goal at Tadcaster was a perfect demonstration of that ability, a sweet volley from the edge of the box under pressure.
However it is his in-game intelligence and link play with Highworth’s chief goal threat TJ Bohane, that marks Parsons out as the man to watch on Saturday.

Treatment Room

HIGHWORTH boss John Fisher has played a blinder with his team’s fitness for this tie.
The Elms’ chief has seen his policy of resting his key players before the Vase games pay off handsomely, he has no fitness worries going into the game, though that has come at the cost of their Hellenic League cause.
Highworth’s much-changed side went down 5-1 to local rivals Wootton Bassett on Tuesday, though TJ Bohane was risked and scored the only goal.
In recent weeks the Worthians have even turned to 44-year-old former Swindon Town man Paul Hunt to keep their players fresh, in Hunt’s case he came up trumps, settling the game against Reading Town with a strike from 35-yards.
In Fisher’s words he’s given himself no excuses when it comes to selection.
