SWINDON Supermarine J and Shrivenham Royals shared the spoils in their Under 12 Division One clash.

In a goalless first half, Max Townsend, Luke Legg, Josh Godwin and Joah Hall all had chances to breakdown the deadlock for Marine.

However, the hosts did not have to wait long to take the lead when Legg robbed a visiting defender and gleefully blasted home from just outside the penalty area.

However, Shrivenham got their leveller late in the game when they netted a penalty after a handball.

Under 12 Division 3

Wroughton Blue kept up their unbeaten run with an impressive 5-1 win over Malmesbury.

Wroughton opened the scoring in the third minute through Jack John , then doubled their lead with a fine team goal that was finished by Jamie Ash.

Malmesbury got one back with a fantastic header from a corner before Ethan Johnson, Henry Hannan and Matthew Clare struck for Wroughton in the second half.

Under 13 Division 1

Thomas Harris scored for Highworth Town Juniors T in their 3-1 defeat at Hungerford Town Juniors.

Division 3 A close game between FC Abbey Meads Colts and Marlborough Youth ended in a 1-1 draw. Both teams defended well with Daniel Wiltshire and Todd Harper both outstanding for Abbey Meads.

Abbey Meads took the lead early in the second half when Jack Cremin made a superb run and then passed to Charlie Eustice, before Marlborough equalised.

A hat-trick from Will Steckerl and a George Moore goal helped Lydiard Youth Black come from 3-1 down to win a thrilling game 4-3 at Highworth Town.

Under 14 Division 1

Logan Plumley had a outstanding game for Northside Athletic as they overcome Ramsbury by 3-1. James Kissane opened the scoring from a corner from Plumley before Ramsbury levelled.

Ben Paul made it 2-1 with a long range strike and Harry Rule completed the scoring for Northside, for who Ben Dodd also impressed.

Division 2

Supermarine maintained their fine start to the season with a 3-1 win at FC Calne.

The hosts started brightly and went in at the interval 1-0 up.

However, Supermarine levelled early in the second half when George Herbert volleyed home.

With 15 minutes remaining a through ball from Morgan Francis set Tommy Lawrence free allowing him to glide round the goalie and slot the ball home, before Harvey Hughes was presented with a simple tap-in to seal the win.

Division 3

Northside Athletic Colts put in a brave performance against Old Town before going down 8-2.

Shannon King opened the scoring for Colts and Bradlee Roberts scored a consolation late on. Lois Beer on her debut also played well for Colts. 

Under 15 Division 1

A player of the match performance from Ferndale’s goalkeeper Kyle Meader-Harris helped his team to a tremendous 4-3 victory against FC Chippenham.

Dawid Osinski scored a hat-trick before Bailey Gallagher fired in the winner with a superb free-kick.

Division 2

Robins claimed a 7-0 win over Lydiard Millicent. Fin Smart opened the scoring before a Leighton McGlynn brace gave them a 3-0 lead at the break.

McGlynn completed his hat-trick in the second-half, while Jordan Flynn (2) and Smart added the others.

Goals from Eddie Swain (3), Luca Cosetino (2), James McGettigan (2), Charlie Newman and Matthew West secured an impressive 9-2 victory for Castle Combe over Highworth Town.

Under 16 Division 1

A threadbare Malmesbury side went down 1-0 at Bassett courtesy of a fine strike by Callum Bridges, while Joe Tranter went close to equalising late on.

Division 2

Fairford edged a five-goal thriller with Ashton Keynes. Travis Woods and Ewan Palmer were on target for the hosts, but Fairford returned home with the points thanks to a Isaac Dolan brace and a Lawrence Merrington strike.

Under 17/18 Division 1

Swindon Supermarine defeated Malmesbury Victoria 2-1. Supermarine kept applying pressure and Sam Long equalised after being played in by Michael Prinzi.

Supermarine started the second half the brighter and a Jason Brien through ball found Dan Harry who chipped the keeper to make it 2-1 to Supermarine.

Division 3

Sevenfield United lost out in a seven-goal thriller against Croft Junior despite goals from Adi Rai, Patty Braganza and Dan Markey.
