ROYAL Wootton Bassett Town could not follow up their successful weekend as they lost 2-0 at Binfield last night.
Paul Braithwaite’s side fell behind in the first half after they were reduced to 10 men and their hosts were awarded a penalty, with Josh Howell scoring from the spot just before the half hour.
Binfield had to wait until the dying moments to get their second. Aaron Rowland turning in a loose ball after Curtis Meare had pulled off a tremendous saves from the initial effort.
The game ended in disastrous fashion as Bassett were reduced to nine men with Dale Richards seeing red late on.
