JACK Lampard was in fine form for Northside Athletic as he netted four goals in their 6-4 success over Liden Community Green in Under 12 Division Two.

Ellie Wallace and a fine free-kick from Kevin Prouse completed the scoring for Northside, while Nathan Goodenough and Giovanni Pungitore impressed.

Division 4

Lambourn Sports won their first game of the season 19-2, with Daniel Henderson scoring 13 goals.

Further goals from Connor Smillie, Sam Ryman, Chris Hillier and a hat-trick from Clay Beaumont sealed the win over Blunsdon.

Under 13 Division 1

Max Thorley equalised for Highworth Town Juniors T in their 2-1 home defeat against Wickham Wanderers at the Rec. Tom Moore and Finn Blunsdon scored one apiece for Wanborough but it was not enough to prevent a 5-2 win for Hungerford.

Division 3

FC Abbey Meads Colts kept up their unbeaten start to the season with a 5-1 win over Stratton Youth.

Abbey Meads took an early lead when a superb cross from James Ejsmont beat everyone and went in. Charlie Eustice increased their lead, finishing well after a through ball from Fergus Dean. Andrew Smith scored to make it 3-0 before Stratton Youth pulled a goal back.

Eustice scored again from close range and Smith added a fifth after a good pass from Joshua Narbett put him through on goal.

Under 14 Division 1

Northside Athletic played superb football to beat Stratton Pumas 8-0.

First-half goals from Ben Paul, Harry Rule and a fantastic strike from Jake Dixon made it 3-0.

Further second-half goals came from Logan Plumley (2), Charlie Begley and two more from Paul to complete his hat-trick and round off the scoring. Tom Pugh and Lewis Swatridge both had good games for Northside.

Division 3

Stratton Juniors Panthers beat Northside Athletic Colts 3-0, with all goals scored in the second half. Michael Cleary and George Wilkins both had good games for Colts.

Under 15 Division 1

Two well-taken goals inside the first 20 minutes gave Bassett Blue the early advantage.

After a slow start by Ferndale they reduced the deficit before half-time with a headed goal by Xavi Diaz-Butcher.

Ferndale gave a stronger second-half performance to turn the game around with goals from their player-of-the-match Callum Barrett, Matty Connor and Dawid Osinski.

Division 3

Ferndale’s overall unbeaten record of 12 games came to an end against a Croft team who used the long ball to good effect.

A wonderful strike followed by a well-taken free-kick gave Croft a two-goal advantage at half-time before Harry Johnson pulled a goal back.

Defensive errors led to further goals before Maciej Demidowicz scored with a calm finish but it was too little, too late for Ferndale.

Under 16 Division 2

Wanborough turned in a solid performance to beat Marlborough Youth 2-0, with Toby Berwick sand Jamie Kelly getting the goals.

Under 17/18 Division 3

Mason Lach put Highworth Town Juniors T ahead in their 2-1 home defeat against Sevenfields United. Sevenfields had to battle hard and ride their luck but their grit and determination saw them through against a team that beat them in a pre-season friendly. Patty Braganza grabbed United’s first and it was Owen Lewis who scored the eventual winner.
